China Gourmet Trip (7) - 9/25 Yangzhou 揚州

Continue with our Most Memorable Lunch at Fu-Man-Lo restaurant in Yangzhou.....The room reserved for us was grand in style and the huge round table could easily seat 16 while we were only a group of 8.
There were 6 cold dishes to whet our appetite:
Then came the assorted delicacies to challenge our taste buds.....
As a Finale, we were introduced to the Famous "Three Head Feast"(三頭宴) in Yangzhou cooking: Silver Carp's head, Lion's head, and Pig's head.
The most amazing one is the whole Pig's Head - deboned and peeled but still kept the skin intact!
The meal finally ended with pastries and fruits, by then, I was so full that I could only look at them and sigh.....
In conclusion, we were served with 6 appetizer dishes, 12 main dishes, 2 pastries and fruits. No wonder it was a Most Memorable Lunch for us all !
